Eric Longley and Andrew Wilson, both of whom have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry, jointly lead our team.

Eric has had hands-on experience in the music industry as Managing Director of Factory Records. Andrew has extensive knowledge of the film and visual industry, which stretches back to the 1980s.

Supported by a dedicated team of professionals Assets Media is also able to call on specialist support services from its associated partners for such services as tour production.

At Assets Media we provide a professional service experienced in the media and entertainment industry. Uniquely, we believe, we combine direct hands-on experience of the industry with direct experience of working in HMRC, which enables us to provide a comprehensive commercial professional service.

Eric Longley

Previously an inspector with HMRC, Eric has had commercial experience as a non-executive director of a pharmaceutical company, as well as holding the post of Managing Director of Factory Records. Eric has had considerable experience of the film and music industry including acting as an expert witness to the Courts on music industry practices and presenting to the Mergers and Monopolies Commission. In the past Eric has advised several national organisations on tax and copyright. Eric has advised many companies and individuals with regard to tax planning, both on national and international matters.

Andrew Wilson

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and Managing Director of the Assets Group of companies. Specialising in developing new and growing family and private companies. Andrew has a great deal of experience of the film industry stretching back to the 1980s and his clients include some well known household names.

Andy Clark

Andy once ran his own family business, so is well versed in the problems that developing businesses encounter. Keen on sport and the arts, including ballet, Andy has a strong interest in his clients and has a wealth of experience in working with media/entertainment clients.

Ion Tsakalis

Ion heads the financial planning services within the Assets Group. A Chartered Financial Planner Ion has worked with individuals and companies within the industry for many years. Ion has developed a range of service products including an arrangement that uses copyright assets to fund financial planning opportunities. With other members of the Assets Media tax team Ion has developed services specifically for the media and entertainment industry.
