We act for a number of individuals and companies in the film and visual industries, including film and TV directors, producers, set designers, sound recordists, lighting specialists, writers and directors of photography. Our clients include BAFTA award winners.

We are able to advise in respect of funding, UK film tax credits, co-production and tax credits, UK tax structures and tax reliefs, PAYE, taxation and non resident performers working in the UK, VAT and HMRC rules regarding self employment in the film and TV industries.

The UK provides several tax arrangements that are beneficial to funding and producing films in the UK. The EIS Scheme gives significant tax reliefs for investors. There are also valuable tax reliefs available to film producers under the Film Tax Credit Scheme. We are able to advise on these and other arrangements.

We are also able to advise on international tax credit rules for non-UK territories.
